The finale just aired where I lived, and they broadcast it aas a two-parter...and after finding the two previous episodes as disappointing as I did, my God, were the finale episodes impactful! :) And reading this beautiful fic right after has done nothing but reinforce the episode's brilliant sadness in my mind and heart.
