A fitting memorial

Date: 2006-11-01 02:54 am (UTC)
When I was 9, about ten years after the tragedy, my parents took me and my sisters to visit the cemetary at Aberfan. I thought about that place another ten years later, while walking past The Wall in Washington, DC.

The same sad hush, the pain of others' memories is almost palpable. These things should never be forgotten. And for your words above, Kaye, diolch yn fawr iawn.
