Oh! This was so blessedly sweet. And fun. And comfortably prosaic. And delightfully in character. I've only just started watching the series (on the sixth episode or so), but I can definitely see this happening in just this way: Hutch having a quiet epiphany, Starsky catching up but still bewildered, neither of them making a big deal of it. I loved it! :)
