I couldn't leave my other boys out of this, so I gave them a double drabble, too.
It's post-Fix. Cuz their angst is an all time high post-Fix. Plus I just love the idea
of a relapsed Hutch.

It's patterned after my new and shiny Torchwood drabble.

It's exactly 200 words. It's painful. In a good way.

You’re the one who drives the car. Which is why you slide into the passenger seat when he appears from the courthouse, steam rising from his head. You drive the car because you know when he needs to drive the car. And when he needs to walk for hours down the roughest streets in town, searching for lost souls and ugly shirts. And his own humanity. Or when he needs to drink too much. Or fuck too fast. An anomaly because the one thing Ken Hutchinson never does too fast is fuck. Besides, a fast fuck is still a fuck.

You’re the one who answers the phone. Which is why you let it ring off the hook while he’s in the shower. Why you watch him emerge, steam rising like a cloud, to leap over the couch and answer it on the very last ring. You’re the only one who knows he’s still hooked. Which is why you turn away so the secrets and lies fall to the floor unnoticed. And with his breath ragged against your neck, his hand fisted in your hair, his chest pinning you against the floor, you realize you’re the one who needs the fix.
